SYNOPSIS: "Avatar" is a science fiction story in
which a human army is facing an alien army on
a distant planet. In the distant moon of Pandora,
a reluctant hero embarks on a journey of redemption
and discovery, leading a tough battle to save
a civilization ... The film, from $ 200 million budget,
test new technologies of animation
(for the recreation of the aliens) to a level
never seen before.
Synopsis:
James Cameron, who won an Academy Award for best director,
will begin filming Avatar - his first film as director
since Titanic - in April 2007 for release in summer 2009,
as announced by the chairmen of Fox Filmed Entertainment,
Jim Gianopulos and Tom Rothman.
Avatar, Cameron will use revolutionary techniques
for capturing images and a virtual cameras
in real time to create new worlds and mix with
real actions as never been done before. Combining
live-action photography with new production techniques
invented by Cameron's team, the film will
offer audiences a unique cinematic experience,
it will be shot in 3D for release in the
new digital 3D format. With the continued
development of digital projection systems,
the studio and the filmmakers hope that
by the summer of 2009 has many digital 3D cinemas.
The history of 'Avatar'revolves around an
ex-marine paraplegic in an overcrowded world
that receives the opportunity of a lifetime,
after the death of his twin brother: working
on the planet Pandora, where natural resources
are as important as establishing contacts with
Navi, local civilization.
